As most people will know, seeing results when it comes to your health takes time. When you begin on a weight loss journey, you often don’t see results for several weeks. Or, if you’re adjusting your diet, it may take an equal amount of time to feel better as well.
When it comes to waist training, the same concept applies. You won’t see results immediately, but you will see them over time. By following these seven steps, you will benefit from reaching those goals you set out to achieve.
Once you’ve tried on your waist trainer and have got used to how it feels on the last setting, it’s time to begin wearing it. On your first day, wear it to the point that it’s still comfortable and keep it on for one or two hours. Over the following few days, you might like to stretch this out to up to three hours a day.
After spending some time adjusting to your waist trainer, try to wear it for up to four hours, but don’t feel pressure to do so. If you are experiencing shortness of breath, pain or extreme levels of discomfort, take it off. Your body will feel constricted, but you shouldn’t feel in pain. During the time you wear it, try to incorporate basic exercises such as Pilates.
While you’re wearing your waist trainer, try to include even more exercise into your day such as cardio. If you’re able to wear it comfortably while exercising, you will know you’re beginning to adjust to it. Just remember, do not wear it while you sleep, and avoid wearing it while you exercise if you are still not yet accustomed to how it feels. By now, it’s not uncommon for people to be wearing it for up to six hours a day.
After a few weeks, many people feel confident enough to wear their waist trainer for up to eight hours per day. By now, you should notice that you have cut down on how big your meals are, and you may notice weight loss as well. You may even see that your stomach appears flatter too.
Try to exercise while wearing your waist trainer for up to 20 minutes. Improve your diet at the same time, and you may even wish to wear your waist trainer for even longer than eight hours.
You will have noticed that your waist trainer is feeling slightly looser, so you are now ready to adjust it to the next set of clasps. Wearing your waist trainer combined with exercise and a more nutritious diet can result in a slimmer waist and flatter stomach. Some people even wear their waist trainer for up to 10 hours by this point.
In around eight weeks, you may have noticed significant changes in your body. You may have seen you are eating smaller portion sizes, you can exercise with more effectiveness, and your waist trainer is more comfortable and easier to wear. Aside from these benefits, your stomach may be flatter and your waist more refined.
Waist training is not only about flattening your stomach and accentuating your curves but about encouraging a healthy lifestyle with nutritious food and exercise. In just seven steps, you may notice some exceptional benefits as a result of these new changes in your life.
